Two numbers decide most ERG funding conversations, which are what a seat in the room costs and how many unpaid hours the core team is putting in to fill it.
Both calculators run in your browser and nothing is stored. They exist because the two questions that come back hardest in a budget review are the two that ERG leads are least likely to have on hand: cost per attendee across the program year, and the volunteer hours behind it. Guessing at either in front of finance is how a catering line disappears.
Use the numbers as a starting position rather than a final answer. Run your real budget, your real event count and your honest average attendance, then bring the output to your executive sponsor before the request goes in. The version that survives is the one where the arithmetic was done before somebody else did it for you.

Why these ERG calculators are open with no sign up
Every ERG lead already does this arithmetic by hand, usually in the margin of a budget sheet the night before a sponsor meeting. Approved budget divided by twelve events divided by the number who actually checked in. Core team hours guessed at, doubled, then quietly rounded down because the honest figure sounds unbelievable. There is nothing proprietary in either calculation, so putting a form in front of it would only slow down the part of the ERG job that is already running late.
Run them, write the four numbers on a sticky note and close the tab. Cost per attendee and the payroll value of your core team's donated hours are worth having whether or not you ever look at ERG software, because those are the two figures a finance partner reaches for when the women's network budget comes up, and the two an ERG lead is least likely to have ready.
